Vendor Description

 From the doc: 'Causes the Windows 95/NT4.0 desktop icons to shoot across the desktop at random intervals (from 10ms to 32765ms). This prank is nice so there is a CrazyIcons button that pops up on the taskbar. Just click the button to return the icons to their prior positions.'

 Annoyance: Any trojan that does not cause damage other than to annoy a user, such as by turning the text on the screen upside down, or making mouse motions eratic.

Detection and Removal

Manual Removal

 Follow these steps to remove CrazyIcons Prank from your machine. Begin by backing up your registry and your system, and/or setting a Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

 Stop Running Processes:

Kill these running processes with Task Manager:



Unregister DLLs:

Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:



Remove Files:
